Wordless Wednesday- English Rose

Hi everyone,

I have decided to start up a Wordless Wednesday post which shall be when I post a photograph or series of photographs for you all to enjoy :). I thought it would be a nice new feature of the blog.

Thank you everyone who followed me on twitter this week. I have now reached 340 followers which I am thrilled about and just posted my 500th tweet! If you haven't already done so and would like to follow me on twitter please click the little 't' button in the top right hand corner and it will take you to my twitter page.

Other important news (and then I promise I will be quiet and get on with WORDLESS Wednesday!)  is that Facebook have unfortunately changed their settings again. This means that even if you have liked my facebook page my status updates will not appear in your news feeds unless I pay a small fortune! This is affecting small businesses like myself. So if you would like to still receive facebook updates and my statuses, vintage videos and blog update reminders please hover over the 'like button' and click 'show in news feeds'. Please also pass on the message and support small businesses by clicking to receive my feeds. Thank you !!!

Here is my first Wordless Wednesday post for you all to enjoy:

Hope you enjoy this photograph I have taken

English Roses

One of my favourite things about the summer time are the beautiful roses. I live in the countryside so I am fortunate to have a garden which has lots of different roses. When they come into bloom the garden smells beautiful and also looks so lovely. There is also a rose garden in a near by manor house which is open to the public in the summer months. It is absolutely beautiful and I could spend all day there reading and relaxing among the roses. Summer is a little while off so here are a selection of English roses from my shop.

Rose Gold

Hi everyone!

I have been included in this lovely treasury today called 'Rose Gold' which was chosen by a lady living in Los Angeles. The pieces complement each other beautifully and I love the theme so I thought I would share. It includes my newly listed english rose tea cup and saucer.

Hope all of you in England are enjoying the weather, it feels like an early summer here. Its beautiful!

A sunny saturday

This week has been a really busy week in a good way but I am also really glad that it's the weekend and I can relax! The sun is shining over England today and it is set to stay this way for a good few days.

The link up party was really fun yesterday, thank you to all who joined in. There were some beautiful creations :). You have all been so busy this week!!! The link party is still open so feel free to still add your link if you haven't already done so :) . What do you all think of the link party ?! Great as a one off ? or would you like to see it as a more regular feature of my blog ?! Please let me know in the comment section.

Thanks to all my new followers :), really makes me smile when someone new follows the blog. As I write this 97 of you are following :). Hopefully will hit the 100 mark soon :).

This week I have also been updating my shop and adding some new items. I now stock Vintage Glassware as well as china :).

These are probably new favourite new listing. They are a set of 5 vintage cake plates, made in England. I love the English roses and flower design. It reminds me of English gardens in the summer time. They would be fabulous for a tea party! Please click here to take a look

I have also listed these lovely cordial/ wine glasses. They are both elegant and sturdy and the detailing on the top is rather lovely. Please click here to take a look

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and thanks for reading
