Film Friday - Adults who live in tree houses
Since my childhood I have always wanted a treehouse. My friend when I was younger used to have the most incredible garden. It had a huge pond with a swing seat next to it, big leafy plants that made it feel like you were entering another world, hiding places and dens but best of all....a tree house!
We spent many summers in the tree house making 'Girls Only' clubs, practicing moves to Spice Girls songs, having water fights and extending the tree house to make it even better!
Next to the tree house was a big climbing frame with a slide and we used to be able to turn the climbing frame around so that the slide could be lifted up to the tree house door which meant you could crawl across from the tree house onto the climbing frame and then slide down onto the swing below which we all thought was fantastic!
Nowadays I would still love to have a little tree house. There is something so magical and fun about having one. My dream is to have a big garden with a little tree house at the end with a studio in. How amazing would that be to be up in the trees and working away making my jewellery? Perfectly peaceful and somehow so much more inspiring being that little bit higher up and that little bit nearer to the tree tops!
So far with my Film Friday films in 2016 I have shown you an animation and a short film about the construction of a mural so today I am sharing with you this short documentary film about adults who live in tree houses.
Would you like to live in a tree house or have your very own tree house in your garden?
Would love to hear from you, please leave me a comment in the comments section or tweet me!

Style Saturday - Flamingo Style!
Hello everyone,
I am rather obsessed with flamingos at the moment. I think it is ever since I got given some flamingo feathers as a gift!
I am rather obsessed with flamingos at the moment. I think it is ever since I got given some flamingo feathers as a gift!
I love the retro/ kitsch look of the flamingos in this collection. I particularly like the flamingo decal it would look great on a plain wall. The bright colour of the flamingo adds a splash of colour to the room or, if you prefer a monochrome look then there are black and white flamingo plates and a cushion.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, thanks so much for reading!

Wordless Wednesday - Beautiful Sunflower
Hello everyone,
Today is meant to be Wordless Wednesday where I post a photograph with no words to describe it but really I am not very good at being wordless so most of the posts end up as nearly wordless wednesdays.....doesn't quite have the same ring to it does it?!
Anyway, today I wanted to share with you all this sunflower photograph I took. I was walking in town and I this planted in someone's garden facing the street. I stopped to admire it and it made me smile so I thought it would be perfect to share on the blog with you all. I have always loved sunflowers as they remind me of my Granny. She was always full of fun and joy so a sunflower perfectly summed her up and they were her favourite flower. Every time I see one I think of her and my memories of her as a child. When I think of her I think of porridge, sunflowers, her songs and rhymes, humbugs, these dolphin ornaments she used to have and let us hold for a special treat (!!) , and playing with the ducks she bought us for the bath and how counting all the coins in her penny jar was the most fun game ever! She used to write little letters to us and draw sunflowers and little snails all around the edge of the paper which I loved getting as a little girl.
Hope this sunflower makes you smile as it has made me smile too!

Style Saturday and happy August!
In Paris there was an amazing patisserie just on the corner of the road in which we were staying on. Every morning we went down and got freshly made bread and patisseries for breakfast which we then ate on the balcony. I love this pink cupcake planter. Perfect for bring the outdoors in and having this in your desk space.
The cupcake planter is available from Uncommon Goods

Paris is said to be one of the most romantic cities in the world. We went for some amazing meals out, went on a night river cruise along the Seine and visited the Eiffel Tower at night.
This kissing lipstick is by the British makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury available on Harvey Nichols

and to go with the kissing lipstick is this 'lip cheat' lip liner also available at Harvey Nichols

What a lovely weekend by the sea - Hove for strolls along the beach followed by Sunday hibernating!
Good evening everyone,
Today we ventured into Brighton to have a look at some of the vintage shops but the weather was awful. Being on the coast it was so windy and cold and was raining hard too so we abandoned the shopping trip early and came back for tea and treated ourselves to some rather naughty (but very very nice!) cakes and treats. It is the best way to cheer yourself up on a wet and cold Sunday!
Hope that you all had a wonderful weekend. Did anyone get up to anything nice?
Please let me know in the comments section below. Did anyone else hibernate and drink lots of hot drinks while snuggled in a duvet?! ....or was that just us?!
Hope you all had an amazing weekend. I have been taking some time away at the moment and it was been lovely to relax and enjoy some time off. I had the most wonderful weekend and had family to visit. We took a trip to Hove and the weather on Saturday was a bit chilly but not too cold for ice creams and a lovely stroll! There are lots of beach huts along the sea front which have been painted in lots of different colours.

Style Saturday - Travelling for him - Stylish but practical
Hello!
Lots of you are off on your holidays (vacations) at the moment. I have received lots of tweets from you all telling me about some of the amazing places you are off to (I am very jealous!). So for today's Style Saturday I wanted to do a travel/ holiday related post but thought for a change I would do a men's style saturday post. I recently went away with my partner who travels frequently. Whilst I was at the check in gate frantically searching my handbag for my passport and trying to remember where I had put my iPad for security he had everything organised and sorted!
He would love this collection. There is a place for everything down to a clip for your cables and a place to store your pen but it is also very stylish. I remember when we used to travel as children my mum would take a big plastic expanding folder with all the passports and boarding cards and essentials in. It made everything so much easier at the airport so this is like the 'grown up' stylish version whist still be super practical.
This would be perfect for your holidays but also if you frequently fly. I like how the slots for different things would also jog your memory and make you remember to pick up all your cables, cards, phone etc as there is nothing worse than getting to the airport and realising you have forgotten something really crucial! The passport covers are also great if there are more than one of your travelling (perhaps as a family) so you can immediately identify whose is whose rather than frantically flicking through trying to find the photos! The headphone are a must for killing time without annoying other passengers as there is only so much walking around duty free that you can do! The suitcase is....well a suitcase....practical but not particularly beautiful! We found that if you check your luggage in that if you choose a black or brown suitcase you might want to tie something bright coloured onto the case as EVERYONE seems to have a black or brown bag! That way you can see straight away when it comes round the conveyor belt.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend
Would love to hear if you are off on your holidays and where you are going. Please let me know in the comments section below!

Style Saturday -Lemon and mint outfit inspiration
Hello everyone,
Welcome to my Style Saturday post. The collection this week would be perfect for a weekend spent in working, blogging or creating. I always find that when I want to make something new for the shop or going to write new posts on my blog I have to clear my workspace before working and relax myself. If I know I am having a creative day I start the day with a nice big bath with lovely smellies. I then get into something comfy but not PJs. I get my camera ready so I can document what I am doing (and usually share it on Instagram), my notepad is never far from my side as often thoughts and ideas come at the least expected time so I jot them down before I forget them. I have a wireless mac keyboard and mouse and this helps a lot when I am blogging or working on the shop. I usually sit up at my desk but if I am there for a while it can get uncomfy so I sometimes then sit snuggled up on the sofa with my wireless keyboard typing away!
Do you have routine for when you are working from home/ blogging/ creating? Something you wear or something you do before you start? Do you keep a notepad nearby?
Please let me know in the comment section below!

Tutorial: Homemade Strawberry Leather Rolls Recipe - Perfect for Craft Fair snack!
Hello!
I have been searching for a while for lunch box snacks/ snacks on the go that I can make for when I am out and about or travelling so was happy to stumble across this tutorial for how to make leather rolls that are a bit like the 'Winders' rolls. They look fruity and delicious and perfect for a snack on the go! I thought these would be the perfect Craft Fair snacks. When at a craft fair I often skip meals as I am too busy to stop and have something to eat. You don't want anything messy as you might have to stop eating half way to help a customer so these would be a perfect little snack to keep you going.
The tutorial is really easy and could be done the night before your Craft Fair.
Do you have a favourite snack or food which you take a craft fairs which is easy to eat?

Style Saturday - Nautical themed home
Happy Saturday! I hope that you have had a wonderful week so far and that you enjoy this weekend too. For my Style Saturday post today I wanted to share with all this collection of nautical themed items for the home. This is a great example of how to make nautical look homely and not tacky. I particularly like the string door sot, the paddle and the tripod light. Would look fantastic in a house close to the sea or in a holiday property.

Beautiful spring themed items perfect for a spring clean and freshen up of your house!
Hello everyone,
Hope you all are having a wonderful week so far. I couldn't resist sharing with you all some beautiful Spring themed items. I am having a bit of a Spring clean at the moment and changing around the house and I bought some new home decor items to change how the house feels. Amazing what a few new items and some moving around of furniture can do for a room and how it can change the look and feel. I like the fresh, bright feel of all these items. Perfect if you feel like you need a bit of a freshen up of your home this Spring.

Style Saturday - Cute patterned socks for cold winters days
Hello everyone,
Welcome to my third Style Saturday of 2015 (still can't get my head around it being 2015!). The theme of this Style Saturday is….well….SOCKS!
It is still cold and wet out and about so if you are anything like me you will be spending most of the time in big thick jumpers and snuggly socks! In the summer time I am a bit of a hippy child and walk around barefoot as much as possible so in the winter, if I am going to have to wear socks I might as well make sure they are nice ones! So for my Style Saturday today here is a collection of some super cute socks to brighten up the cold winter days!
