Hello everyone,
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!
As is tradition, I thought I would share with you a verse from the poem by Clement Clarke Moore called A Visit from St Nicholas (also known as Twas the night before Christmas)
'Twas the night before Christmas, when all thro' the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar plums danc'd in their heads......
- Clement Clarke Moore
Hope that you all have a wonderful Christmas. Does anyone have any family traditions for what they do on Christmas eve? In my household we gather everyone together and pick one gift from under the tree and the person has to try and guess what it is and hand it around to everyone else who has to try and guess too. They then get to open the gift. It is good fun and has resulted in many hilarious guesses over the years. What are your Christmas or Christmas eve traditions? Let me know in the comment section below.
Merry Christmas everyone. Have a wonderful day tomorrow.
