Handmade rustic style tags by The Dorothy Days

Hello everyone,

Happy Tuesday! Did you all have a good bank holiday? Did anyone get up to anything nice? I spent most of mine crafting so today I thought I would share with you all some new tag designs which I have been adding to my shop over the bank holiday.

My tags have been really popular for wedding recently so I have been doing lots of big orders which is always exciting! People have also been buying my tags are product labels for their hand crafted items. I take custom order requests and can make tags in any quantity.

Here are just two new designs which are now in stock in my shop......

Wedding on the Farm - Rustic style wedding inspiration

Hello everyone,

Wedding season is upon us so I thought I would share with you all some wedding inspiration with this rustic style wedding.

The venue for the wedding is a beautiful old barn on a farm which has been decorated with white roses and green foliage, lengths of draped fabric and sacking/burlap layed on the floor to form the aisle. The wedding dress is a heavily embroidered and beaded dress and the bridesmaids wear green which matches the rustic theme.Rustic wedding on the Farm

I thought my rustic style wedding tags would work beautifully with this theme and would be great as either place names for the guests' seating arrangement, wedding favour tags or beautiful as wedding wish tree tags with the idea being that each guest writes a message to the newly married couple on a tag and attaches it to a branch of a tree or a prop such as a wire bird cage. A wonderful keepsake from the day and something to look back on in many years to come as well as being something which would look great in your wedding photos!

Tuesday = Shop day (or so my new blogging schedule says!)

Hello everyone!

Well I am trying to stick to a new blogging schedule to make sure that I do actually blog as I my blog has been rather sadly neglected over the last few months and posts have been a bit few and far between! The world's most unorganised person (thats me if you didn't get where this was going...!) is trying to get organised and I decided that a blogging schedule was just the remedy. So I have decided Tuesday are going to be the day in which I show you what I have been up to in the shop and share any super exciting shop news! Wish me luck in trying to stick to this!!

The items from my shop that I am sharing today are my handmade tags. I have been super busy preparing new designs for the shop and also re-photographing some of my old designs (which I showed you a before and after shot on the post a few days ago).

I am rather pleased with how they have turned out and really like the new designs which I have in the shop.
Floral tea cup tags to match my vintage tea cups! I sell these in different sizes and do custom orders for any amount required but they are currently stocked in 10, 20 and 30

Mission was to make as many tea related items in my shop as possible! This is one of my new designs and I am really pleased with how it came out, so pretty! I thought these would be lovely for a vintage style wedding or a tea party! Stocking these in packs of 100 but also do custom orders for any amount

What do you all think? Do you like the new design and what do you think of the new shop photography?

The Dorothy Days - vintage and handmade shop

While I have been away from blogging I have been working really hard on adding new items to my shop and expanding the range of items that I sell. I am so pleased to see the shop look fuller and have enjoyed making the new items. I hope to continue to add more items to my shop in different designs and also add different items which I have not had in the shop before. For example, I recently added beautiful vintage glove stretchers, an item that I have never before had listed in my shop. I hope that you shall all like what you find in my shop.
