New things!!!!

Hello everyone :) !

Hope that you have been having a wonderful day and that this week is a good week for you all. Today I have to admit I have been having a rather lazy day! I spent the day sitting out in the sunshine with family and friends and drinking lots of tea and then cooked an amazing Thai curry for supper :).

My lazy day today makes up for my day on Sunday, although supposed to be a day of rest I was super busy! I woke up early and decided to have a change around of the living room. You know one of those ideas which seems like a really good idea but half way through isn't?! Well I managed to break the TV aeriel and so have been without television until this evening! It took me forever to make it work again. I wouldn't normally mind as I don't really watch that much TV anyway but at the moment the Paralympics are on so I have been so annoyed that I have been missing bits. I have been reading the news and twitter to try and keep up to date and watched some clips online on the news sites but its not quite the same!

I also photographed lots of my new vintage stock which was exciting :) and have loaded some new items to my shop :). It took me the whole day but I am really pleased with the photographs and even took new photographs for some of the stock already listed as I feel the new photos show off my items much better :). I have listed about 6 new items. I thought I would show you a small selection of my new photos and listings. What do you all think ?!

This photo I am particually proud of :) The orchid was for my birthday present :)

This is one of my favourite of the new cups I have listed. The colours just make me want to smile :) ! Listed here

So far all the newly listed tea cups seem to have gone down well and I have had a few likes on facebook and quite a few views and favourites on Etsy which is always lovely :). My pink and white rose teacup has also been featured in a treasury already which is so exciting :) especially as its only been listed for 24 hours!!!

A lady called Ruth has made a beautiful tea themed treasury with some stunning items in it. She certainly has an eye for treasuries and I love every item that she has featured especially the Brighton bus tea cosy!!! Makes me feel at home :) !

Here is Ruth's beautiful treasury (thank you so much for including me!!)

My hubby and I can't resist a good cuppa, and not only is it tasty and refreshing, it also has health benefits. So I thought I'd celebrate our love of having a good old cuppa with this treasury list. Put your feet up and enjoy!

  1. Hey Dorothy! I love your blog it's ace and so much for featuring my treasury list and for mentioning my shop! Bless you! I too love the Brighton Bus tea cozy - it's so funky isn't it! Thanks so much again. Have a lovely day, and take care, Ruth @ Ruth Clare Creations xx

  2. Those are beautiful teacups. I love your teal background, you make all your products look gorgeous against it! ;D Hope you have an amazing week, I'm looking forward to your next update!

    1. Thank you :). So pleased to hear you like the teal background because it was between that and going for a plain white background but I think I made the right choice :)

  3. The tea cups are so pretty. And I agree with Shawna that the teal background is very good for your tea cups! Thanks for sharing. :)

  4. Love the treasury you were featured in and I love your birthday orchid pic! Looks great with the teacup. ;-)

Please leave me a comment (it makes me smile!)

Thank you!
